Re: 1920's light fixtures
See the "fixtures" page on my house site for some examples. At least around here Art Deco fixtures seem pretty common at least by the mid 1920s.

You can find repro catalogs on eBay. I've got a few, and they're a great resource.

The fixture wizard at www.rejuvenation.com can sort by room, fixture type, house style, and period.

They are very close to the mark. Found an original version of the Sheffiled lamp I bought in an antique store. Virtually identical.

I use Deco fixtures in my house...but... electricity wasn't "delivered" here until the 1930s!

Re: 1920's light fixtures
Rejuvenation gets an unfair rap sometimes because of the price range. I have done the research and they are accurate about era and style. As a matter of fact, fixtures similar to the few remaining pieces in my house come up when using the wizard feature.

Re: 1920's light fixtures
We bought some very nice repro ceiling fixtures from Schoolhouse Electric Company in Portland, Oregon. We're extremely pleased with how they look, and they're a bit less expensive than Rejuvenation and Restoration. You can check them out at their website: http://www.schoolhouseelectric.com

Re: 1920's light fixtures
Go to Ebay...do a search with "antique light"...you will find hundreds. I've bought all of my antique light fixtures on Ebay...they're the real thing and they are cheaper than any repro...
