Post Show me your fireplace!
Hi all! I'm new and delighted to find this resource.

I have a 1926 Prairie Foursquare that's practically perfect every way Perfect except for the pink marble fireplace surround that was added in the 1960's . . and an avocado green bathroom, oh and homemade 1980's kitchen cabinets.

Anyway, my pink marble is not long for this world and I'd love to see your beautiful fireplaces, or any pictures of A&C fireplaces that you come across. I have the little fireplace book, but I (and perhaps others) need more inspiration. Thanks!!

Mark,

Its great to have photos to compare the present and past. It simply adds value to the house.
