I bought this Bungalow 2 months ago. Started taking off the Gray Metal Siding 2 weeks ago. Has anyone every seen a bungalow with this type of front porch?

Re: Can anyone help with porch style?
Hi Yes, I have seen enclosed Bungalow porches. You need to contact a carpenter and see if they can fix the porch or tear it down and make it an open porch. Good Luck.

Re: Can anyone help with porch style?
Hello Linda, I have seen this style around here in Portland. It is a little bit Art Deco - give-a-ways are the use of stucco and that cool wavy porch rail. Looking beyond the porch one sees a high belted stucco base at the main house typical of Arts and Crafts/Deco style. You mentioned aluminum siding. Are the porch overhangs covered with aluminum or are they wood? If wood, then I would assume the roof is original along with the columns. You've got those two neat little outlooker beams (also called outriggers) on either side of the gable end wall vent at the ridge. Cool looking. Wondering if the enclosed porch ceiling is original. Those triangular block outs below the eaves and above the columns could be hiding more outrigger beams if they are remodeled. Hope it helps
